How Has (Network) Marketing and Public Relations Changed?
As most of people are aware, ( and I’m sure you are since you are reading this blog!) the methods and strategies for effective marketing have changed drastically with the spread and increased use of the internet by people.
The internet is now the most effective marketing strategy and yields the greatest return on investment for network marketers.
I’ve take an excerpt of a list from a book I recently read called ”The New Rules of Marketing and PR” by David Meerman Scott who is a marketing and thought leadership expert. The selected points from his book describe and show you what marketing and public relations mean in the 21st century. For every entry where you see “marketer” or “marketing” I’ve simply added “network” before in parenthesis to show how the rules apply to network marketing online.
-
- (Network) Marketing is more than just advertising
- You are what you publish
- People want authenticity, not spin
- People want participation, not propoganda
- (Network) Marketers must shift their thinking from mainstream marketing to the masses to a strategy of reaching vast numbers of undeserved audiences via the Web
- Blogs, podcasts, e-books, news releases, and other forms of online content let (Network Marketing) organizations communicate directly with buyers in a form they appreciate
I chose these specific points for a reason (If you are unclear on a point read the list again or comment your question), they ALL apply to your network marketing business and focus on communicating with people in a more personal, honest manner. They emphasize the use and power of new marketing techniques such as blogs, podcasting, e-books, and online news releases. The old methods of network marketing are dead, no more: mass mailing, cold calls or meeting rallys.
If you don’t know how to apply the new methods and marketing techniques though don’t worry. That’s why FREE Network Marketing is here. Subscribe below and my brothers and I will be teaching you all the cutting edge strategies.
