When it comes to any form of marketing, there are three critical elements you can focus on

1) Increase Your Profit Margins
Example: If you make profit $5 for every widget you sell and your competition
only makes $3 profit per widget, you can afford to outbid your competitors on
expensive keywords.
2) Increase Conversions (from visitors to leads, leads to sales, etc…)
This is not only a great way to dominate high competition keywords, but its
also the fastest and easiest way to double or triple the amount of money going
into your bank account every month.
Example: If you are sending traffic to a capture page that is converting 8% of
your visitors into leads, and then you create a new capture page that converts
16% of visitors into leads, you’ve just doubled the value of every visitor to your
website.
3) Up-sell Like Crazy (anything and everything)
It’s ok if you lose some money on the front end of your business as long as you
have a solid system in place for up-selling. It’s not wise to rely solely on back-
end products to turn a profit, but up-selling in a market where your competitors
are not definitely gives you a competitive advantage.
Example: Use a funded proposal to pay for your marketing, but always provide premium priced products and services on the back-end. (always give your customers an opportunity to spend more money with you)
If you master these three critical elements, you’re well on your way to dominating
high competition keywords (your competitors won’t even know what hit em’).

Making Money On The Internet Is Too Damn Easy
Making money on the internet is too damn easy.
Then again, so is everything else in life, if you commit to YOUR success.
One of my favorite quotes of all times is, ”If you live life the easy way, life is hard. If you live life the hard way, life is easy”.
If you think about this statement for a moment, I can guarantee it defines where you’re at in your life today.
People always ask me why there are such high failure rates when it comes to making money online and owning your own home business.
The best analogy I can give you is to look at the GOAL of losing weight.
Every year, millions of people set out to lose weight (especially for a New Years resolution).
They all choose a diet (a business opportunity).
By the time a week goes by, many of them forget they even set a goal to lose weight. (they were never committed to begin with, it just seemed like a good idea at the time).
Two weeks into their diet, many give up out of soreness and discomfort. They are clearly out of their comfort zone, but rather than pushing forward and getting past the initial soreness, they call it quits.
Some push through the initial barriers to change, but don’t stay consistent. They even start to see some results. The problem is, they didn’t have realistic expectations. They complain because they don’t have rock hard abs overnight. (these are your people that really could succeed, but have a get rich quick mentality)
In the end, the FEW that go on to achieve perfect health (or massive bank accounts) aren’t the people that dropped 30lbs in their first 2 weeks, they are the people that COMMIT to a daily routine.
It’s being consistent that’s the challenge, not the daily actions.
So, just like losing weight, making money on the internet is easy—you just have to apply yourself day in and day out.
A good rule of thumb is, if you do ONE thing everyday to grow your business, even if it only takes you 15 minutes—your life will get exponentially easier…(and your bank account will grow before your eyes).

If Barack Obama can pull the U.S. out of the greatest downward spiral since the great depression, why can’t you change your own life and solve your own problems?

- Time - Bill Gates has all the money in the world, but there is one thing he can’t buy and that is time.
The financial problems the U.S. faces can’t be fixed overnight, it might take years, even decades for things to return to normal.If you really need change in your life it is up to you to take control and do it now!
- Scope - I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news, but the U.S. is in pretty bad shape. The list of chores is pretty long: Stabilize the Mid-East, save the economy, redevelop health care, fund social-security, improve education, stop inflation and lower unemployment to name a few.
I’m not saying Barack can’t do it, I think he is very intelligent, but he simply wont be able to fix all of our problems. That’s why you need to take control of what you can. And if that means starting your own home business to solve the money problem then by all means!
- Control - The government might be able to help you at some point in time, but you probably wont be able to control how much help you get or where you get it.
It’s another reason why you are better off helping yourself because you can control what you need help with. Know one knows what you need help with more than you do. The government is limited to what they can do…but you are not!
You should be able to see why that even though this is a historic time in U.S. history, that you shouldn’t wait around for the government to solve your problems no matter what they are.

Is Your Home Business Healthy? Time For A Check-Up…
Is your home business built like a tri-athlete or an obese person? Are you feeding it high nutrition thoughts or potato chips and reality televison?

I’ve been sick for the past few days with a nasty cold, and its forced me to reflect on my lifestyle during the previous weeks and months.

If you aren’t making as much money online as you would like to be making, don’t complain about the effect, look at the cause.

The Difference Between Goals & Dreams In Home Business
The new year is in full swing and it is time to set goals and resolutions both personal and professional for 2009. But before you start setting home business goals, it is good to understand the importance of goal setting and how to do it right.
The secret to setting goals is to keep them realistic and create an outline or a plan to reach them.
You have to do more to reach your goals than just dream about them.
Goals like “Make more money” or “I want to retire” and “To quit my job” are not really goals, they are dreams.
Empty shell statements with no plan of action.
Goals have a specific plan of action attached to them.
In example:
Instead of “I want more money”
It should be something like “I want to make more money by starting a home business”
You then take it a step further and turn it into a REAL, SPECIFIC, MEASUREABLE, GOAL, when you say:
“I want to make more money by starting a home business selling XYZ product and dedicating 3 nights a week and $3500 dollars to starting this business.”
Do you see the difference?
One is a dream and one is a specific attainable goal with a plan of action for accomplishing it.
When you make goals more specific they become easier for you to reach because they are measureable and you can tell if you are making progress towards them.
So the next time you brainstorm goals for yourself make sure they meet 3 criteria.
- Specific - Not broad generic statements or “dreams” as we call them
- Measureable - How do you know you are making progress if there are no results to measure?
- Attainable - Every goal should push your limits but still be a reasonable accomplishment
Following this advice will make sure you reach your goals by setting them the right way and be more productive as a result.

Writing a blog post is easy, but following a few simple guidelines will make your posts addicting and have readers coming back for more.
The great part about blogs & “blogging” is that you have the freedom to write in any style you want about almost anything you want. You have to be careful to make sure that all that freedom doesn’t get in the way of you writing a quality post.
There are some main guidelines that people still expect when visiting blogs and general rules you should follow:
- Target about 250 words per post - The average person does not stay engaged reading for very long. By limiting the word count of your post by being brief but concise, your entire message has a better chance of being received by the reader. Exceptions do exist but a 250 word target is generally best.
- Write as you would speak to a friend - A friendly, conversational tone when writing is best. The best blogs embrace showcasing their personality, humor and friendliness in their posts. Yours should too. Write as you would when talking to a good friend.
- Stay focused on your topic - Before creating your blog you should have chosen a particular topic or niche to focus on. Your blog posts should rarely stray away from this topic. If you are talking about anything and everything on your blog then you are talking to no one. Stay focused.
- Be Creative - Detailed descriptions, pictures, models, bullet lists and graphs are all great ways to engage readers. People are attracted to visual stimulants more than just text. They will add great flavor and appeal to your posts.
- Space Your Post - Most people don’t read anything these days, they skim. Posts that are spaced well for easy skimming are more effective. Use lots of space and short 2-3 sentence paragraphs.
